Bio

Rachel Rae O’Brien was born in April in the semi small town of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania and now resides in Lancaster, PA. She recently graduated Pennsylvania College of Art and Design (PCA&D) Magna Cum Lade with a BFA in Photography & Video. Throughout her time at PCA&D, Rachel has been on the Dean’s List every semester. She has also served as the President of LUX, the student-run Photography & Video organization, since the beginning of sophomore year.
O’Brien has curated two shows at PCA&D, the first was Summer Daze during her Junior year, the second, Do You See Me, she co-curated her senior year. Her work has been exhibited in University Student Show: Photography in the Time of Covid at the PhotoLounge in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as well as in Death & Rebirth at the Hayden Gallery at PCA&D. O’Brien has also been a part of the international blog exchange between PCA&D and the students at Zayed University in Abu Dhabi.
